And I'm excited to be back in your podcasting feed with another great episode.

I apologize.

It's been a couple weeks since I've released an episode.

And that's partially due to the fact that I've been super busy getting ready for Central

Texas Showdown and getting registration open for East Texas Showdown and had some

scheduling conflicts with other guests. And so anyway, my apologies, but I'm excited to be back

and I'm excited to bring you a chat with today's guest, who is

Jen Kelly.

Now, you may not have heard of Jen Kelly before, and that is because she is new to the world

of bikepacking and bike pack racing.

She picked up a bike four years ago and just started riding further and further and further and really learned that she loved it.

And she entered her first bikepacking race this summer, which was the great American Wheelman race, which is a brand new race.

So I was excited to learn more about that event. And she ended up coming

in first female and fourth overall. And then six weeks after that, she signed up for the Big Sky

Spectacular in Montana, which is a 900 mile bike packing race.

And since recording this, we actually found out that she, they adjusted the times and she actually was the overall winner of that event.

And then just five days, I think it was five days after she finished that event,

she turned around and started the

Montana Bike Odyssey, which is a 1,750 mile bike packing race in Montana.

And she was the overall winner of that event as well.
