And on today's episode, I'm excited to bring you a chat between me and Nicolette Jones, who is this year's female winner of the Colorado Trail Race.

I had an absolute blast getting to know Nicolet. This was her first

ever bikepacking race, and she doesn't have social media. And so I didn't know Nicolet at all.

I knew nothing about her, but I got to know her through her blog while researching for this

episode and found out that she is a very

adventurous person. She's done a lot of really cool trips, including a cool job in the adventure

guiding and coaching industry. And I think you're going to really like this chat. I know that I did. We covered a wide

range of topics from making your own bags to tandems and a tandem tour that she went on with

her husband, Mark, from Arizona to Argentina. And one thing that really impressed me was all the different ways that she has traversed the Colorado Trail.

But I'll leave that for today's episode.
