Today I want to revisit a subject that has popped up in various guys in the podcast because you know I do love talking about dating and relationships.

That is how I started out with baggage reclaim.

And it basically runs back to an episode I did around about this time last year about the five stages of

relationships and how in order for us to enjoy more fulfillment in terms of our relationship experiences,

we need to start as we mean to go on by having more of a recruiter mindset in the early stages where we are in the getting to know.

When we are more discerning about the partners, the people that we are engaging with, we have more successful outcomes.

A recruiter in the job world is somebody who was trying to match a candidate with a position within a company and any recruiter worth their salt is going to have a really good nose for what they do and have become attuned to certain signs as a result of their

experience in working in recruitment and they're not going to keep, I don't know,

presenting a company with the wrong kind of candidates and they are also not going to try to take everybody through to first interview or everybody through to the final interview.

They are discerning.

That doesn't mean that they don't make mistakes,

that they don't have biases or whichever else,

because, as I said, in last week's episode 186,

all humans have biases.

But in order to be a good recruiter, they have that recruiter mindset,

which is that they are trying to match the candidate to the position and the position

to the candidate, and they have an understanding of the needs of the
