Now, there are trap games set up through every season in different parts of the season,

and if you don't know what a trap game is or what that term means, it's basically the

game before a huge game, typically against a lesser opponent.

Now, it's hard enough to get the coaches not to look ahead, let alone the players.

And some coaches, especially coordinators, want to save their best wrinkles for the bigger

game, so it increases the chance of the other team being able to hang around and possibly

win.

But there is no bigger weekend of traps than the week before rivalry week.

Even teams that may not be in the hunt for a national or conference championship can

fall victim to this gridiron pandemic.

Now, there are some great examples of trap games once again before we kick off rivalry

week next week.

For example, North Carolina, hosting Georgia Tech, didn't even have a full-time coach.

They're not going to be any good, right?

LSU is going to host a scrappy UAV team.

Michigan is going to host an Illinois team that can really do some things as well, and
