So I have a quick announcement for everyone.

The Suzanne Venker Show is now going to be on video.

I know many of you who listen to this podcast do so while you're doing other things,

and you probably don't care about seeing me per se.

I know that's the case for me when I listen to podcasts,

but YouTube is a very different platform where video is pretty much the whole

point. And my VA, Kelsey, has been begging me for a long time to make the podcast in video

form. So I'm finally doing that. So today I'm going to talk about how to combine career and family

in a way that actually works

and that is obviously different from the way the culture teaches, since the culture wants women

to be in the marketplace full time and on a permanent basis, which of course is a ridiculous

expectation to put on women, most of whom still want to get married and have kids and

need a roadmap that takes into account not only the needs of children, but women's changing

priorities. So I'm going to start by reading an email that I received from a woman named Julia

who writes, hi, Suzanne. I'm a recently married, recently pregnant,

recently ex-woke woman living in England,

love it, trying to figure out the best course in life.
