Summary

Can you use your art as resistance, as a form of activism, or as  a catalyst for social change? Yes, you can, and this week, I'm talking with Susan Celia Swan about how to do just that.

Susan is the Executive Director of V-Day, a global activist movement to end violence against women and girls that raises funds and awareness through benefit productions of Playwright/Founder Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues and other artistic works, and we had such an amazing conversation about what creative women can do to activate change in their local communities and on a global scale.

We also talked about what to do if you want to serve but aren't sure how to get started, the big impact tiny moves can create, and how to deal with the imperfection that can rise up when YOU want to rise up.

This conversation is important and powerful. We've all got big work to do. No pressure, hand raisers! And let's go.
