Summary

Boris Johnson has been churning out his Daily Mail opinion pieces again, but this week the bloviating bell was even lazier than usual when we learnt he couldn't even be bothered to research the Bridget Jones plot line before putting out his casually sexist guff.

Then it's onto the ongoing Labour and Starmer drama which shows no signs of quelling. Jemma and Marina discuss the lazy comparison with the Tories, the disagreement with Owen Jones and the double standards of the media - but sadly arrive at the conclusion that there are some Labour stories emerging that are far more than serious than just bad optics.

Then it's onto BBC Laura K who it seems is looking forward to her romantic date/interview with Boris Johnson - and appears is the only one left who gives a toss what he has to say

Then it's onto the no-class-act, Kemi Badenoch, who this week displayed she knowns even less about anything than we thought she knew before, when she appeared to suggest her class status changed after a shift working at McDonalds. All finished off with the most cathartic of puddings, that may well have granted James O'Brien official national treasure status.

You want that cheese snack. Yeah. The one you steal from your kids' lunchbox, perfectly round, cheesy and baked to perfection.

The one you hide on the top shelf so your short game can't reach.

0:15.2

The one you keep in your glove box for traffic jams? Or just because? You're thinking of mini-cheddars.

0:20.3

Oh, did it just make it worse by

mentioning it? Sorry, go on. Give in, I would. Mini-cheddars baked with real cheese. Still thinking

about it, aren't you? I grew up in a middle-class family, but I became working class when I was 16

And just for a second, I want you to imagine you've got an opinion column in a national newspaper.

0:55.4

You're lucky enough to be paid some one million quid a year for this column. So when you sit down to write, you make sure you've done your

research, your opinion is well structured, it's based on insights and well-documented truths,

1:05.3

so you can land your well-thought-out, engaging piece to make a thought-provoking point. Except you didn't get that column.

1:13.5

No. Instead, it was handed to a lazy shite of a man who can't even be bothered to do the most

1:18.8

basic bit of research before he puts pen to paper to write out his usual tabloid guff.

1:32.3

Actually, Marina, if you've got a calculator there, seriously, divide 52 into one million.

1:36.8

Let's find out how much each beautiful column is worth.

1:37.4

Wonderful.

1:42.7

Because, of course, we are talking about the one, the only Boris Johnson, who sits down every week to do his homework, and you can imagine, can't you?
