I'm doing a special episode this week. We'll have our regular episode with Jessica in a few days but for this

midweek episode I wanted to elaborate on a project I brought up last weekend which

is this book that I've been working on for more than a year with a writer

Camille Barrejic. I'm going to talk to Camille in just a moment, but just to give you a quick recap, the book is called Queer Disbelief, and it's all about

the atheist movement and the LGBTQ movement, and where they overlap and where they don't and why atheists ought to be

vocal advocates for LGBTQ rights and we know how religion hurts the LGBTQ

movement but sometimes it helps too and as atheists we ought to how religion hurts the LGBTQ movement,

but sometimes it helps too.

And as atheist, we ought to acknowledge

when that is going on.

So that is what the book is all about.

Camille has done a phenomenal job of writing it and before I get into the interview
