After almost eight years of researching and talking about Mormon issues and considering myself post-Worman for a number of those years, I was pretty confident that I had heard virtually every issue that's out there regarding the church.

But then a few months ago a friend came to me and told me that I had to read something.

I was sure that whatever he had to tell me, I already knew.

We were talking one day about issues about the church and he had

asked me if I knew anything about Lowry Nelson and I'd never heard of him. He told me

I needed to Google it I needed to look it up, and read the letters between Lowry

Nelson and some leaders of the church.

I didn't do it.

A couple months later, we were talking again and he asked if I had read it.

I hadn't. So he told me to pull it up right then and start reading.

And these letters blew my mind. But they also introduced me to my new hero of Mormonism, Lowry Nelson.
