The Heisman in its truest form, at least in my opinion, is the player who is most important

to his team that is a legitimate contender to win something big.

Now, there are multiple players who fit this profile, but when you look at who's the

most important, the absolute most necessary to their team, I feel like one person stands

above that the rest.

And that's Richard Freshman Drake made from North Carolina.

Now, look, we all know UNC's defense has more holes than Camp Green Lake.

And without their stellar offensive play, especially at the QB position, UNC may not have

a winning record right now.

It's that bad.

Now, the young gun has the stats to back it up too.

He's tied for first in the country with 31 touchdown passes to only three interceptions.

His QBR is almost 90 and he's averaging almost five yards of carry with four or more

rectangular landings on the ground.

Now, the best part of his game after watching the tape doesn't even really show up on the

tape.

He's elusive inside and outside the pocket, but it's mental.

It's cerebral.
