On behalf of one hairstylist, she's the owner of Palm Salon in Stockton, one esthetician, and one nail salon,

as well as the Pineapple Cafe owner in Los Angeles on behalf of restaurants.

The pineapple cafe, I'm sure a lot of you saw the viral video.

It's gotten tens of millions of views where the owner was crying and very emotional.

As she had her camera turned on herself, talking about how her outdoor dining had recently been shut down.

This was in December.

And right outside of her restaurant in the parking lot,

where large tents where hundreds of people were going to eat

because they were deemed essential as part of a Hollywood production.

So just a very visceral visual of the hypocrisy and the arbitrary and capricious nature

of the shutdown orders that Newsom has imposed on California.

The PBFC Professional Beauty Federation of California, Fred Jones, their counselor and lobbyist,

helped a tremendous amount to coordinate the suit, and they recently released a press release.

I'm going to read some of the elements of the press release.

The vast majority of this industry is made up of women-owned and operated establishments,

including a huge percentage of first-generation immigrants and those from the LGBT community.

Ten months into these lockdowns, the state has failed to produce any data and science
