I am Kira Davis, your host, and you might notice that I'm sounding a little different today.

And I'm feeling a little different today.

I'm feeling some kind of way.

As soon as I sat down to record, my soundboard broke.

So I had to scramble to find some other source of sound.

And the best I could come up with was this old lapel mic that I have.

And I'm so used to talking in front of a microphone that what I did is I hooked up the lapel mic to my microphone.

I just like clipped it on there. so I can pretend like I'm talking into my

regular microphone because I I'm so used to. I'm so ticked off. I'm so ticked off. I know that

this is a sign that I have to I probably have to bring in a professional to hook up my sound

here. But also the other problem is that,

I mean, and that's money. And I live in California. Money is always short. Gas is almost $7 a gallon

here. I'm dying, you guys. I really am. The other thing is that my son's coming home. So I've now

been booted out from his little space, his room, which was my lovely little office, and I'm back in an open
