We are getting towards the end of April and one of the sub themes of this episode is going

to be whether Kate and I get through the episode without having a sneezing fit or a joint

sneezing fit.

Even though we're hundreds of miles apart, I think everybody, at least I don't know what

it is in the rest of the country, but at least in the northeast and these coast allergies

are pretty bad.

So if you were a fellow sufferer, we salute you.

So that's just a little thing I just wanted to mention in case you wonder as the episode

goes by.

We've got a lot to discuss.

We have a big speech this evening by President Biden.

You know, it's funny.

I almost caught myself calling him Vice President Biden.

I'm still sort of, I don't know if you have this, but we're only three months in, but

I still have moments where I'm like, wow, Joe Biden's president.

I didn't expect that.

I don't mean I didn't expect it like last October or something like that.

I probably, I think in retrospect, I probably expected it a little more confidently than

I should have expected it.

I just mean more over the course of the last, you know, in some ways over the course of

the last half century, but really over the course of the last 10 or 15 years.
