anyway. I just don't know what to do. I get asked this all the time. Honestly, this might be one of

my most asked questions. So in the spirit of the season, let's dig into this a little bit.

But this also applies to year-round living for birthdays and for other events, too.

Because basically we're talking about this issue of, how do I deal with the loved ones in my life

that just don't give gifts the way I wish they did? Whether it's too many things or the wrong

sorts of things, it all stems from the same core issue, keeping a healthy relationship in

light of gift giving. It's hard for me to address this in a hard and fast way, like this is

the way to handle things, because every person and family in situation is completely different

here. And I have to be honest up front. We are incredibly fortunate to have two sets of

grandparents that, for the most part, don't overdo it. So it's almost a little unfair for me to
