Alright what's up everybody Vortex Nation, we are here in the podcast studio, I don't

know when the last time we were in here by any way, marked my left as usual, we got

Ruben across the table and also Katie Godfrey right from Kestrel and so this is a cool

visit that we have from Katie and actually also the crew from Applied Ballistics is here

too so we're going to be chatting with them at some point, stay tuned for some of these

episodes but right now Katie being here we want to chat a little bit about your guys'

awesome devices and technology, huge huge aids to shooters, especially I think it's fitting

long-range shooters which we know many of our listeners out there based on you know when we see

all the downloads and all that stuff coming in, a lot of people super interested in the long-range

shooting stuff and as we've talked about in some of our previous podcasts, I don't think it can

be talked about enough is how much environmental and the ballistics and just the air and atmosphere

that our bullets have to travel through on their way to the target, how much that affects

it all, if we shot in a vacuum, I don't know we might not need Kestrel so I guess yeah you guys are

big proponents of like the no vacuum, don't vacuumize the world, yeah so but anyways yeah we'll have

you introduce yourself though, we were just chatting here a little bit before the podcast, pretty

cool like how long you've been with Kestrel and all that stuff and some of your background

and even Kestrel's background too was I didn't even realize what they came out of and all that

stuff so yeah, Katie will give you the four-year. Yeah sure so Katie got free, I've been with Kestrel

for 21 years and I actually started, the parent company is Nielsen Calermann, Nielsen Calermann

started as a rowing electronics company so back in the 70s the two founders were working at Xerox,
