Hey everybody, Tom Woods here by myself today talking current events.

And I want to bring to you retention a couple of suits that have been filed

one against the governor of New York and mayor of New York City,

so Andrew Cuomo and Bill DeBlasio.

And then also against Governor Murphy of New Jersey, a second case.

The one involving New York just had a ruling,

and so that's why I want to say something about it.

And it has to do with religious liberty during this COVID crisis.

And this is significant for everybody, not only religious people,

because you may say, well, in principle, I favor the right of people

to assemble for religious gatherings, even if I myself don't wish to do so.

But it goes well beyond that, because as we'll see,

the outcome of one of these cases has a pro-liberty impact on basically everybody,
