Welcome back, everybody, this week's bonus episode of the DCL duo podcast. And it's that time of the year. It's time to reflect back and look forward. Since we did a little bit of looking forward in our Christmas episode as to things that we were really looking forward to, we thought we would take today to look back on what has been a really fun year in this podcast. It's our almost second full year, but we're in our second year now of doing this. And what a ride it's been. So we thought we would trade the mic back and forth and talk about perhaps our sort of top three favorite shows that we've done each. So CM has chosen three. I've chosen three. And we're just going to talk a little bit about those favorite shows for newer listeners out there. We'll give you the show number if you want to head back in the catalog and take a listen. That's always a good opportunity to do that. These are some of our favorites. I do want to say that by no means in picking these shows, do we want to diminish some of the great guests that we've had on whose shows may not get mentioned. We've had some

great folks on the show, some big names in the blogging and vlogging and even podcasting

community. And so love the shows we've done with folks like Paul Thornton, who writes the

joy of cruising and who has turned us on to some truly fabulous guests that we've been

able to have on these past two years from his books.

We had Mike Rahman on, which was kind of a fanboy moment for me in the podcasting community. If you don't know who Mike Rahman is, then you just are not listening to enough Disney podcast because Mike Rahman does the Be Our Guest podcast. He puts out, it's got to be three shows a week now, four shows a week maybe, including a call-in show. If you don't recognize Mike's

voice, then please head over and educate yourself. Mike has a fabulous podcast. We loved having

him on. Jason Leppert came on, who runs the popular cruising blog. You got to talk to him about

some of the Disney Wish announcements. Also got to talk to Aaron Foster from the unofficial guides about

some of the Disney Wish announcements this year. Both fantastic folks, huge Disney Cruise Line fans and loved having them on. Emma from Emma Cruises was back on recently to talk about her very first sailing on Disney Cruise Line. Loved having her on. Loved getting a chance to catch up with Steve Creasy on board the Disney Wonder out of San Diego and doing a little prognostication by the pool with him and getting to meet up with him and his wife as well. So just lots of fabulous

kind of, I would call minor celebrities out there in the Disney podcasting community, major ones

in some cases and major ones in the cruising community. Also, frankly, wanted to call out a few

folks who've turned us onto alternative forms cruising and helped us educate our listeners around

small ship sailing or quirky cruises. So I wanted to thank Heidi Sarna out there who runs the

quirky cruising blog. And that's just a fantastic resource for small ship cruising globally,

as well as John Roberts from In the Loop Travel, who helped us understand what Arctic cruising

was going to look like for Adventures by Disney and shared with us his cruise up on Panette. He's actually getting back from

an Arctic cruise right now or an Antarctic cruise. I can't remember which. But we're going to have

him back on to talk about that. So again, just some fabulous folks out there in the community.

Also listeners who've come on who've just been fantastic. I want to thank folks like John Marone, who came on early in the year to talk to us about his experience sailing on the big red boat and has been a fabulous resource for us on social media and in the background, just talking to us about Disney Cruise Line. Chris in the Concierge lounge, who must be on his sixth or seventh time on our show and sharing his cruise line experiences across celebrity and Disney. And so that has been wonderful. And actually,

Royal Caribbean as well. He's the reason why we have a Royal Caribbean cruise now booked in
