I'm even more looking forward to sailing on the Wish about a year after the maiden voyage,

0:04.2

because I think the maiden voyage and the DVC cruise in the first six months of her ceiling,

0:08.1

it's going to be an absolute circus.

Welcome back, everybody, this week's episode of the DCL Duo podcast in a very special episode.

0:34.4

It is, as we are recording this from Poolside at Alani, this is our Christmas episode.

0:54.5

I will call it a Christmas episode because we're an interfaith couple, but Christmas is this week and we couldn't be more excited and we're so happy to be spending it here at Al-Lani as a family and making some memories. So, Mali Kaliki Maka to all of you out there. Maybe just looking back on this year, we should just sort of talk about some things that we really enjoyed doing as a family and some things we were thankful we got to do as we make new memories at this Christmas. You know, what are some

0:58.9

things that you've enjoyed over the past year that we've gotten to do? I will definitely say that I

1:03.8

absolutely loved our August trip to Alani. That was amazing. And I would say that my other favorite thing that we got to do this

1:13.3

year was actually our short cruise over my birthday on the Disney Wonder out of San Diego. Those

1:21.0

are my two favorite trips of the year. We didn't start traveling until we had a quick trip to

1:26.1

Disneyland in June, which was also great because

1:28.8

WebSlingers and Avengers campus. So, yeah, I would say those are the highlights. Those two

1:34.7

trips plus maybe visiting Avengers campus. What about you, Brian? Yeah, I think that trip to Disneyland

1:39.9

was really fun and we had just a great time. It was a little nerve-wracking, but it was nice

1:43.8

because the crowds were still light at Disneyland. We got to do webslingers and rise of resistance in the same day, a couple days in a row. The only disappointment for me on that trip was just the dining. We just not have the best dining experiences. They were good, but we just didn't get to eat the places we necessarily wanted to. But it was really great to be back at Disneyland. I will say it was especially great to be back at Disneyland pre-introduction of Jeannie and all

2:04.9

the changes that happened because what I'm reading online, I'm not, I'm no longer excited to go to the

2:09.9

parks. So we'll definitely make it back to Disneyland at some point soon. We still have magic keys that we

2:14.3

haven't activated. So need to head back down there. We'll be there in April for spring break next year. So we'll get a flavor of it then. And I hope it continues to live up to our love of Disneyland. I'll see the other trip that I really enjoyed aside from the October trip was just our first cruise back as a family. I thought it would be emotional and it was emotional. And it was so nice to get back on board the ships. it was wonderful to be back on the ships at such low capacity and have those great experiences great to bump into michelle and doug from road drop radio michel is our travel specialist over a touring plans travel and so great to be able to spend a day with them on castaway key um it was just the most relaxing disney cruise i think i've ever had because the capacity was so low and everything was just so spread out and the activities were so minimal.

2:54.0

Just didn't feel like there was much that you could do other than relax.

2:56.7

So had a great time on that cruise.

3:02.2

Well, we need to take a quick pause in the action here to thank our amazing sponsors over at Touring Plans.

3:06.9

We use Touring Plans travel to book our own sponsors over at touring plans we use touring plans
