Right now, Joseph, justice is not afforded to everybody equally. It's not.

Depending on where you die and what department you have there, you may never see justice ever in your life.

Because of, you know, lack of personnel, lack of funding, just lack of skills.

And so what happens are these cases, I mean, look at the John Bonnet case. It's so horrific. There's so many cases that are just so bizarre that needs to

be looked at by the federal government to make sure that there's justice, but nobody is there

looking at it.

Christ. And today, we're going to think about the worst case scenario. What's the right way to

respond to the worst thing that could happen to you? Well, of course, I hope and pray that this

question always remains theoretical for you. It's not theoretical for my guest

today. Josephine Wenzell lived every parent's nightmare when her daughter was murdered in 2016.

To make matters worse, she encountered a system that didn't seem all that interested in bringing

her child's killer to justice.

The man suspected of murdering her daughter is a former Marine, who changed his identity, fled to South America.

And Josephine seemed to be the only one interested in finding him and bringing him to justice.

After years of searching, she may have accomplished her goal.

The suspect was found, arrested, and is currently awaiting trial in San Diego.

But this is not just a story of a tenacious mother. It's also a commentary on a system
