Ladies and gentlemen, do I have a treat for you today?

Alexandra Houchin, who just finished the Tour Divide, is my guest today. If you don't know Alexandra, you are in for a treat.

If you do know her, you're really in for a treat.

She is one of the more inspiring, charismatic, down-to-earth, real-deal people I've ever met. I mean, she exudes just authenticity. I can't think of

any other way to put her. She is just so honest with herself about who she is and about the person

that she wants to be or strives to be, and it's powerful.

She is a force of nature.

She is just awesome.

I love this woman.

And so many of y'all out there, I think, echo my sentiments.

I've been following along this tour divide as many of you have,

and she has been out there pushing herself to the extreme.

I've been messaging her back and forth throughout the tortivide,

sending her positive thoughts.

You know, this is not an easy race.

I don't think that really needs to be said but for us sitting at

home we're just watching these dots go by on a screen it can be hard to put ourselves in those

situations and that's one reason I really enjoy doing the show is to give these athletes an

opportunity or not always athletes but just people who like to go on these adventures, but I like to give people the opportunity to share their story. It's as simple as that. I love learning about the people, the people that take on and choose to tackle some of the most enormous physical and mental challenges

that are available to us as humans on this planet.
