0:10.2	Whew, it is cold in Montana, but we're not the only place where it's cold.
0:15.2	That's cold everywhere.
0:18.4	But today, I am doing a podcast that is going to be a little bit different than most of what we do.
0:26.4	Those of you who follow our platforms, you know that in the last two weeks, we've been using our
0:34.4	platforms to fulfill part of our Y. And part of the Y of our business is to create advocates for the cause.
0:41.7	The cause we promote is self-guided public land hunting.
0:46.8	And part of that is a bill introduced in the Montana legislature.
0:52.4	It's called Senate Bill 143.
0:55.4	And that bill was brought forward by a group we call a MOGA Montana Outfitter and Guide Association.
1:02.9	And there's a lot of back and forth on this, right?
1:07.5	The summary of the bill, as it was originally introduced, would have taken 60% of Montana's non-resident, deer, and elk tags,
1:17.3	and gave preference to those tags for anyone using the services of an outfitter.
1:24.4	Well, a huge push thanks to so many of you came against that.
1:31.4	People realized, hey, there's a lot of resistance to this.
1:35.0	It has now been amended, and it came out of the committee amended.
1:39.2	The 60% is now down to 39%.
1:42.8	So it still is a bill that's going to have a lot of friction.
1:49.9	And I thought, all right, let's have a discussion about this.
1:56.3	So I invited, and he kindly accepted this invitation, Mack Menard, who is the executive director
2:04.1	of the Montana Outfitter and Guide Association.
