uh this week we're gonna just throw out there uh some information about how to not miss

the deadline or Utah which is coming up March 4th so about a week from now sorry I'm a

little late in getting this out but I want to make sure that you don't miss that because

uh well we want people to draw tags and we want them to go hunting and the first step to go

hunting is drawing tags so I'm gonna just quickly touch on the high points here if you want more

let's talk about Utah like I said the deadline is March 4th 2021 if you miss that deadline you can

still buy points up through March 18th but uh don't miss the deadline you know if you're gonna

buy the license to buy points you may as well throw your name in the hat because when I explain

how the system works it's like buying a raffle ticket so uh I'm gonna quickly explain their

system it's a hybrid system where they take 10% of the tags and they put it in a non-resident pool

so that's all cool we know we're gonna all compete for this for this 10% and then they take those

tags and they split it into two different draws for the for uh any of us by any species uh and how

it goes is half the tags go into a pool that it converts your bonus points to preference points

so in that that draw the person with the most points gets the tag identical to a preference point

system and Utah says they have a bonus point system but because of that first feature I mentioned

that makes it kind of a hybrid system so the high point holders are gonna have a crack at that if

the if that draw if you don't draw there they throw you over into the next part of the draw

where it is they call it a random draw and it's a typical bonus point draw you know every bonus point

you have you get an extra random number so it's like having extra raffle tickets in the bucket so
