Last night, the Atlanta Braves locked up the end at least as we predicted on this show

after hawking down the meds who held a ten and a half game lead as of June 1st.

Now the Braves dominance over this division is staggering.

It's their fifth straight division crown and their 17th in the last 28 seasons.

Now most people today will be talking about the meds collapse and while it was the third

largest blown division lead ever, the real story is it wasn't as much about the meds

collapsing as it was about the Braves thriving.

In the last four months, the Braves played at a 114 game winning pace and went 78 and

33.

To put that in perspective, the meds went 64 and 44 since June 1st and still lost that

ten and a half game lead.

The Braves won 100 games for the first time since 2003.

They only won 88 last year in their World Series season and they clinched the division

the day before the last game of the regular season, which means they literally had no time

to spare.

Now this team has the potential to win back to back World Series, but that isn't the

scariest part about the Braves organization right now.
