As we are starting recording this episode, the beginnings of the antics in the house chamber in Washington, D.C.

seem to be underway. I'm actually kind of out of one eye watching

the live feed on C-SPAN, so that's happening. President Trump is either still speaking at that rally or perhaps just

concluded, I don't know and at some level it's good to say you know I kind of

don't care right but of course the

big news is this pretty stunning and an immensely consequential development last night in the state of Georgia, where both

Democrats won their Senate seats, won Senate seats.

Pretty much everybody's called the Warnock-Lefler race.

I think basically people are still holding on,

you know, people aren't calling

AASoff yet, but it's pretty clear that that is,

that both are, both are done.

So it is, it, there's a lot to say about this one thing I was talking to an old friend of mine

This morning by text or Twitter or something like that and this is what

Democrats needed on November 3rd.

It's not just that controlling the Senate is a big, big deal, and we'll talk about that in a second. But this is a happy moment and

Democrats were kind of deprived of that in a few different ways back on November 3rd and
