I’m sharing why neither the roller coaster or the merry-go-round is wrong, but that your conscious choice between the two is what matters. Learn how to make that choice for yourself today.

Hey there, welcome to another episode of the podcast. Just got back from my trip to Puerto Rico last week.

0:40.7

It was so good. I've never been to Puerto Rico. It's a lovely place to go. It's so easy to travel to

0:45.6

because, you know, it's a territory of the U.S. so you don't need a passport. You don't have to worry

0:49.1

1:47.3

movies with Steve Martin called Parenthood. It's a movie from the late 80s. And in it,

1:54.7

there's a scene, which I'm going to read to you. I actually looked it up so that I could get it

1:59.8

exactly accurate. And there's a scene where

2:03.2

Steve Martin's grandma tells a story and Steve Martin's not having it. But I just love this story.

2:11.2

And more than anything, I love the idea of what it represents in terms of what's possible for our lives. So here's how it goes.

2:19.4

The kind of wacky old grandma who she's just, you know, up there in age and maybe her
