Summary

This week’s episode is my last solo episode on the podcast. I’m choosing to listen to the signals my body is sending me and take a step back and slow down. In this episode, I dive into the Roe v. Wade reversal, the trauma of Covid, and answer your questions about what I wish I saw in the wellness community, my favorite workouts, getting in the mood when you’re not feeling it, my boyfriend, summer plans, if I regretted opening my marriage, letting go of relationships, and what’s to come in the next few weeks of RFR!

It's hard to believe that I've been doing solo episodes with you guys for nearly three years

0:46.0

on this podcast. It's also hard to believe that this is going to be my last one,

0:51.2

and I feel like it's better sweet for me. I feel sad because I love this podcast,

1:01.1

and I love this community, but I also feel I feel like it's time for me to step back for a little

1:09.5

bit and to realize my own limitations. I'm someone who will push and push and push until they burn

1:17.8

out, and I'm really trying to not do that anymore. And instead, listen to my body and listen to the

1:29.5

cues that it's giving me that it's burnt out and overstressed. And I'm going to tell you what

1:33.7

those are right now. One, my period cycles are all over the place, and I'm having really bad

if your period's coming every 34, 36 days, or if you skip a period here or there, or if you have

1:53.4

clots, or if you have PMS symptoms, you know, this is just the way that it is. And for me, this is

2:00.8

not normal. And I don't really think that it's normal for any of us personally. Prior to January,

2:09.6

I was having regular cycles like clockwork with no PMS symptoms and cycles that were

2:17.4

moderate to late and only lasted four days. That is like the antithesis of a perfect healthy cycle.

2:24.6

And that was even with my PCOS diagnosis. So stress reduction regularly working out,
