Well, hey everybody, happy Mother's Day week and welcome back to the messy table, an ordinary

space for real women, imperfect stories, and the God who's at work in our mess, which happens

to be the overarching theme of the world of our hearts since the very beginning of time.

And even today.

So first, before we jump into today's episode with our incredible guest,

like I said, Mother's Day is almost here. So whether you are a mom or you're like a mom or

you have a mom, it's such a fun week to celebrate. We're so grateful for the moms in our lives.

But we also know, even just from women who have shared on this podcast, that sometimes Mother's

Day is complicated and sometimes Mother's Day hurts.

And since we know this week has the potential to be extra hard, we're actually going to

link quite a few powerful stories from past episodes for those who are maybe in the throes
