I think that there was a pathologization, right?

Whenever you look at safety alone, like every mom and every baby has to make it through

birth unscathed.

As you mentioned, you know, in your intro, there's going to be some bad things that happen,

and we can't always avoid that, but we've been what we as humans who are really disconnected from our own mortality what we've what we've sort of come to conclude is

You know, we're willing to compromise everything, including the person, as long

as we can ensure healthy mom, healthy baby.

And what that actually translates to is you both have a pulse in your breathing when you leave

the hospital.

Doesn't matter if the experience was traumatic or if you didn't

hear feel heard or if you feel actually like the birth experience actually left you in a worse

space than when you started.
