I think men and black men oftentimes have a difficult time asking for help.

They see asking for help as a weakness.

When you have unresolved trauma, you're triggered by things that your partner don't even realize it's triggering to you.

Yeah, well, I am a clinical psychologist. You know, that's a loaded question because I ask my patients that all the time.

I know. And I typically don't want them to follow it up with what they do. But I know for the sake of the show, we have to start that way.
