Most of the churches maintained a commitment to the Septuagint, and it was the Bible of the church

of the church for the first five centuries.

The whole rabbinic conspiracy corrupted to really being able to communicate the full story of the Bible.

It's really influenced in a negative way, the Maseretic text has in a negative way.

Basically the gospel and the defense of the gospel and so forth. It was a conversion of a corrupted Bible that had been created by Rabbi Akiva. There were academies that were created for the teaching and creation of rabbis.

What they saw was that the Christian apologist were using the Septuagint and many verses of course from the Septuagint to prove that Jesus

was the Messiah. What they set about to do was to select those verses and the chronology of the Old

Testament. They went through and changed messianic verses, messianic prophecies of the Old Testament so that they did not easily infer

that Jesus was the Messiah. It's a monster story when you get in and you understand what was going

on, but the reality is that the Septuagint was preserved as the Bible in the New Testament, because the New Testament

brought forward the key portions of the Old Testament, it talked about Jesus, and it

made those verses, brought those verses forward that were changed and corrupted by the rabbinical school. Welcome to the Days of Noah podcast, where we talk all things biblical, supernatural, and strange.
