1:11.3	Tom and his friend Matt decided in a pub one night to ride their bikes 20,000 kilometers from London, England to Cape Town, South Africa. Over 500 days, they met some amazing

1:26.0	Tom, welcome to the show. Thanks, mate. Thank you. And I have to laugh because I ended this part out, but I called Tom Matt. So, yeah, that's why we're all laughing about this. So anyway, Tom, I'm going to do it through the whole show. It's really good to have you. So first of all, give us a little bit of a background on you and your, your upbringing.
1:45.9	Were you an adventurous person? What really, what launched you into wanting to do such a, uh,
1:50.6	a, uh, long trip like this? Um, yeah, yeah, I think as a, as a, as a kid, I was always
1:55.6	trying to know what was around the corner and, and, and, and spent a, a childhood kind of outdoors with, a childhood outdoors with my siblings and with my
2:03.5	mates and I've always wanted to explore and I've also been very, very lucky to have a family
2:10.3	that will allow me to explore. So I think that that's a big part of doing trips like this
2:15.2	and kind of having that desire to go and do things
2:18.7	slightly differently is having those loved ones that kind of go, yeah, even though your
2:23.7	idea might sound a bit crazy, we'll back you wholeheartedly.
2:28.0	And so, yeah, I've always had this, this itch that seems insatiable and the desire to go
