I have a guest today that I've known for a long time.

We have so much in common about things we love to do and

swapping email with him, uh, but he lives north of the border, lives way up in

northern Alberta, Canada. And I think part of the value of

you're going to get to see how things are slightly different than Canada.

You know, we say the North American model of wildlife conservation,

but each state has its own kind of spin on it in Canada.

Each province has its own spin on it. And there's some differences in how

Canada does it, how the US does it. Um, so I think you'll get some of that.

He is always excited to talk hunting, fishing and and and in the case of what we're

talk about trapping. Trapping has a place in our wildlife system.

And some people I know a lot of hunters and a lot of anglers are like, oh, trapping,

blah, blah, blah, blah, you know, they have a negative connotation to it.

Uh, and I don't know if this will change anyone's mind, but I don't ever shy away from the fact

that I grew up trapping that I paid for my first semester in college trapping beaver and muskrats.
