Hope this finds you well. I'm always fascinated with the the manufacturing process. How things get made.

There's a show or a TV series out on the science channel. I don't watch much TV but I often

if I am bored and scroll in channels and I the science I'm pretty sure it's called the science channel.

There's just a series of things called how it's made and I'll start watching one of those and two

hours later I'll get sucked into it and think how did I just waste two hours doing this but it's

it's my own interest in manufacturing process and I think part of that comes from the fact that

look I'm an accountant I don't understand anything about manufacturing but I'm intrigued by it

and personally I have the benefit of being involved in that process. Let's see for three years now

with Gerber. There's a series of knives that I've been working on with them designed for

alkanning and I didn't get to see like every little step of the process because I'm not watching

here they start with steel and then it ends up in a package out the other end of the assembly line

but I got to start right from the beginning of meeting with all their engineers, designers,

their management team of saying all right what's the problem we're solving for it all started with

what's the problem and how do we solve it and so I gave them my whole list of what I thought were

problems in the space of alkanning knives and you'll hear I'm sure Carson and I when we

click the button here and he joins us we'll go into a lot of this of how it started and

and what the the process is for them making sure that they keep their eye on the prize you know

what what's what are we doing what what if if we're manufacturing a better better tools better knives

what problem do they solve and how do they solve it better than what Gerber might currently make

or what a competitor makes so as someone who has strong opinions about knives because I come from

a background of trapping and trappers are very critical about knives and I'm I've always been
