You might remember Darrell from our voting episode,

from our first run of episodes in 2015.

He was also on our episode about prison this year.

He is one of the most impressive and impactful people we have ever had on the show and in fact the conversations that I had

with him on set the first time we had him on the show were one of the things that

made me want to do this podcast. Darrell's story is so incredible and he's such a

fascinating person to talk to and he talks about such difficult

issues about our criminal justice system, our prison system, the way it disenfranchises people

in such a clear and compelling way.
