All right, Chuck Garfine here, and we've got a conversation coming up here with Nick Madrigal,

the White Sox, number one pick out of Oregon State.

This is a special player, special person,

special competitor you're going to hear about in this interview. We talk a lot about his makeup,

why he is who he is. And if you didn't know already, this kid does not like to strike out.

And he's going to get into that.

Why he doesn't strike out and his approach at the plate, which is so refreshing.

And as I told him, I want guys like you multiply by like a million in Major League Baseball

game. It's all like strikeouts and home runs. He is a different cat, so to speak. So, well,

you're going to hear about that. Also, the time that Oregon State's head coach, Pat Casey,

saw a young Nick Madrigal when he was in eighth grade. First time he saw him play,

he offered him a scholarship right there on the spot. He was an eighth grade. Nick's also going to

talk about the career, the major league career he envisions for himself. Actually, I asked him

that question. And his answer, when you hear it, you're going to like Nick Madrigal even more.
