were here at the All-Star game, we're thinking Houston Astros, acutely aware of what a rebuild

is all about and what it takes to get to the finish land. So we decided to talk to George Springer,

I mean, you look at what the Astros had to do, the pain they had to endure just to get the draft picks

and stock their farm system, there was a lot of pain along the way. Yeah, everybody's trying to find a

comp to the White Sox rebuild, and I'm not sure there is one because everybody's done it a little bit differently.

But in terms of what they had to go through, some of this pain you're talking about, I think that's a good comp for what White Sox fans and some of those of us who cover them right now are kind of enduring going, wait.

This does hurt and it might take as long as Rick Hahn originally said.

And when you look at the Houston Astros, you can't just say, wow, they won the World Series.

You have to go back and you quickly forget, you know, the path it took to get to where they are now.

And I think the guys that went through it and some of their perspective at such a young age really stands out. I think it's going to be different in that the socks aren't going to be as bad as long as the Astros were bad. Now is it going to take five, six years for them to win a championship? I don't know about that one. But I don't think they're going to be as bad in their rebuild because you look what the Astros had to do.

2011, they lost 106 games, 2012, 107, and then 2013, how about 111 losses?

And then how about 2014, 92, and then it was in 2015, they went 86 and 76, but they didn't have anything in their farm system.
