Hi, this is Josh Marshall, and this is the Josh Marshall podcast. We were just talking

before we started recording about, you know, how close the election is.

And we actually had a little debate,

an unresolved debate amongst ourselves,

whether it's 48 days or 49 days.

And I said how, I mean mean I'm never good with numbers but like since

months have variable lengths I'm never quite good at figuring out like how many

day you know it's it's it is September 16th so how many days is that to

November 3rd but regardless of how many days it's somewhere between 50 and

45 I think we're I think we're settled on that and that is really close.

We're almost to that point where I mean we're a touch, we're you know close to the

to the midway point in September and we always you know we always have to remember that we you know we talk about the November election and obviously it varies a little bit between like the third and the eighth

depending on when that when that Tuesday is on the month but basically the

election doesn't you know the campaign isn't happening in November it's kind of it

it ends right at the beginning so October is like the big you know the big rush the

big the time when the election is really happening and we are close and I think what is it we're

touch less than two weeks until the first debate that's right two weeks from yesterday it was.

Yeah. Tuesday the 29th of September. Okay yeah so right at the end of

September and actually I haven't posted yet but I was I was I was just

writing a post about the debates because there's this funny thing with

Trump no president has been more cocooned, you know, bubbled in a sheath of fawning, fluffing news coverage, right?

I mean, he's on Fox constantly.
