season right around the corner we have started asking ourselves how can we make a bigger impact and not just at the end of the year but maybe year round we all have causes that we care about, but when does it make sense to take

donating your money or your time or your resources a step further? When does it make sense

to start a charity or a not-for-profit of

your own? To help us answer these questions, we are sitting down with Scott

Harrison and Scott, as I'm sure many of you know is founder and CEO of the

nonprofit organization Charity Water which focuses on the global water crisis

and the world 663 million people who do not have clean water to drink.

In 12 years with the help of more than 1 million donors worldwide,

Charity Water has raised more than 300. one million dollars.

Charity Water has raised more than 320 million dollars.

It's funded 30,000 water projects in 26 countries and when you add it all up these projects will

provide nearly 9 million people with clean safe drinking water which is

incredible he is here because he is about to embark on a book tour for his very first book

flashbacks when you walked into our studio.

I know I'm sitting in the same spot where I recorded the audiobook, which was 25, kind of painful
