Glad to see you, Kate, I guess you actually, you got away, right?

You got to, actually went away for a week and I guess it wasn't just a staycation.

You actually, we don't have to get into where you went but you

actually did go somewhere which is you know in the in the COVID era that that doesn't

go without saying so that's great thing. Did you feel refreshed?

Does not stop Philadelians from headed to the Jersey Shore.

It's like, yeah, that's what that's like salmon running,

you know, kind of going back to the going back to the original

stream no time yeah so we got we still have you know we're still

dealing with the the unfolding COVID epidemic in the United States and a president who seems to get more and more feral

as his election, re-election prospects become more dubious.

And then we have, and we're going to talk about this,

these congressional negotiations over whether there will be more COVID relief,

extension of unemployment, all these kind of things.

And it's, Kate has been following this. all these

very weird, weird stories,

weird stories, weird dynamics of a negotiation, because the one hand you fit you know usually

Democrats want more aid more spending you know more more support for people in

financial distress Republicans want less, but in this case

it's not even clear the Democrats are kind of involved, the Republicans can't figure
