You know, I remember back when I was a senator, the earth was a beautiful place, cooling as it was from... And now all you gall-d darn geysers are ruining it with your poop

your poop and your social security and wanting money and stuff

what's wrong with you see and Alan Simpson is one of those guys

that I caught wind up I mean I had always been aware of him but he was

just retired and he was out of the Senate and he was on NPR I think I up. I mean, I had always been aware of him, but he was just retired and he was out of the Senate, and he was on NPR.

I'm sure I have a post about this from six or seven years ago, five or six years ago.

He was in NPR.

And he was one of those people who was being interviewed as a former senator who's decrying the fact that the calumny and the anger and the vitriol of the house was seeping over

into the Senate.

It was becoming an unfit place to work.

And again, the person who was doing the interview or the person who was ticking off points

pointed to one or two or five or 50 or a million Republicans who were being gigantic bomb-throwing assholes.

And then it was, well, you know, both sides.

Yeah.

And Simpson will come right up to the edge.
