We are, uh, we don't know what's happening in the country right now you know we kind of we

had the COVID thing and we had this horrific crisis and then we we were kind of you know moving into a new phase and now we're back in in

horrific crisis in a lot of parts of the country and it's it's certainly important to

understand that even with the spiraling case counts the mortality numbers, thank God, are not remotely like what you saw

in the New York City area, what is it, three, four months ago now but they are rising and we have collectively as

a country individually as parents and students but sort of collectively as a country just because

so much is involved in it, this sort of hard deadline coming up. Schools come back into session in, you know, more or less end of

August beginning of September or something like that. And in this case, I'm not talking about colleges and universities,

which is a whole other issue.

Talking about kids, kids and schools, minor children who go to schools,

and the president of the United States went on Twitter

this morning and basically said yeah CDC says this but I disagree and everybody's got to go back to school.

Yeah and if now we'll slash funding or we'll cut funding.

Yeah and it's it's such a funny thing because we were just talking about this before we started recording this morning and I am the only parent who's who's one of the three hosts of this podcast and as probably some listeners know some of whom remember when these kids were born I

have 11 year old and 13 year old sons and as with many parents around the country there is a tremendous push and pull.

I think we are all aware that remote schooling was marginal at best.

It's just not, you know, in theory,

if you spent years planning

how you would do remote education schooling, you might be able to kind of get it

you know who knows what what would be possible there's all sorts of questions a lot of

developmental questions and socialization questions but certainly just like kind of firing up the Zoom call and
