We are the core. Yay! Ladies and gentlemen, dear listeners all, today we have a very special guest.

Some might call him the Alpha, the Omega, the beginning, of the Universe, the Creator of all around us, the Lord God himself.

Okay. Okay, we don't actually have God on today's panel, which you know, you probably already knew.

But we do have the next best thing which is Brian Dalton the

creator behind the Mr deity web series and if you're not familiar with Mr deity I want you to

stop what you're doing go on YouTube look it up right now it's fantastic in fact I consider it one of the major

sources of inspiration behind the creation of brother Jake my point is you got to look it up it's

awesome anyway Brian Dalton recently released a new video as part of the Way of the Mr.

Mr. Dea kind of spin-off series, critiquing the Mormon idea of testimony,

and we'll put a link to the video on our website

and in anticipation of the video's release he graciously agreed to come on the

podcast with myself Randy Scott and Bob and talk about his motivations for making the video, his background

in Mormonism, the origins of the series itself, and a bunch of other stuff.

I think a good place to start just because we do have some never Mormon listeners

and maybe some listeners who aren't familiar with you can you give just a quick

background of your relationship with Mormonism and your exit?

Yeah, I grew up in a home where my mother was a true believer and my father was a

convert from Catholicism. Didn't really buy it, but tried to make peace with it in the family.
