Hi everybody, Tom Woods here. Talking today about Max Boot, and if you're on my email list, you got my email about Max Boot.

Max Boot is from the Council on Foreign Relations. He's been with the weekly standard, the Wall Street Journal.

He is a neo-conservative commentator, and he and I have had a bit of a relationship, let's say.

He was not particularly nice to me in 2005. This goes back a long time. He didn't like my

politically incorrect guy to American history. We'll talk a little bit about that in this episode,

and his criticisms were the same ones that I got from the New York Times,

typical neocon. So now he's got a brand new book out called The Corrosion of Conservatism,

Why I Left the Right. And it's, I haven't read the book, but what I've read of his stuff lately

is it's just very breastbeating and how wrong he's been.

And yes, other people are wrong and that's also a factor.

You know, Trump is wrong in his view.

But he's very upset that he was so slow to recognize his white privilege and stuff like that.

Sad to see a man debase himself like that.

But all the way back in 2005, I tried to tell people there's something

screwy about this guy.
