Welcome back to the show. Today's topic is anxiety surrounding medical procedures,

but we're going to approach it a little different way.

I have a guest with me today.

That is Dr. Frank Katanzaroo. He has an anesthesiologist been practicing in Rochester, New York for the past 25 plus years. The man knows what he's talking about. We're specifically going to talk about that fear and the anxiety, the panic that comes along with having to

undergo an actual medical procedure like a surgery or some sort of outpatient procedure. And we're going to talk to Dr. C.

Dr. C. Tizarro about the role of the anesthesiologist

because in the end, those are the men and women that are dealing

with the anxiety in the operating room, in the surgical room. men and

as much as everybody is super nervous about the

when the procedure is getting done.

And as much as everybody is super nervous

about the fact that like what if I panic during my procedure the

anesthesiologist have seen it all. So I reached out to Dr. C who full

disclosure also happens to be my cousin. So I reached out to my cousin Dr. Kettinzaro to talk about this and I said well it'd be really interesting to you know hear your experiences and your point of view and how do you guys deal with this sort of thing?

We have somebody who is dealing with, you know,

a high level of anxiety or even panic over their procedure.

How do you deal with it?

And he was like, oh, that we see it every day.

So I thought it would be an interesting discussion.
