I'm in New York City and with me is my sister Elizabeth Kraft and Elizabeth you

are quite far from the stage of taking your son to college. That's me Elizabeth

Kraft, a TV writer and producer living in LA and even though I don't have to

worry about it for a long time Gretchen it was fascinating to hear from

listeners on this topic. Yeah yeah. But before we dive in Elizabeth we got an

email from Sharon from Dublin who really ran with your idea of the

Power Day. She actually adapted it into a Power Week and we loved hearing about

this. Yes Sharon says, late last year my husband and I renovated our house but

it feels like there are a hundred incidental jobs left to be completed. It was

a real happiness stumbling block to give up weekends to complete these

menial tasks but also a stumbling block to see everything almost finished. I

made a list of absolutely everything that needed to be done room by room and

booked a week off work to complete them. My husband did the same. I'm in a

bliger and I need accountability to really deliver. My husband is not a do it

yourself enthusiast so I asked my dad to come stay for a few days to help. He was

really keen. Now my mom and father-in-law want in too as a keen gardener my mom

wants to plant us a new garden double win. What I love about this is that now
