The Serial Mormon History Podcast. Of the many presentations at the John Whitmer Historical Conference, some of them tend to stand out more so than others.

As an organization that primarily focuses on the history of the church, we sometimes lose sight that most of the figures we talk about come from the 19th century, but once in a while we get presentations that are from

much more modern sense. So today I am joined by Madison Harris. Madison Harris is a double

major in biomedical science and history with minors in leadership studies and pre-medicine

at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She's involved in many organizations at

UCCS, including the Chancellor's

Leadership Class, Pre-Health Society, University Honors Scholar Program, the Student

Government Association, Kane Scholarship, and a future member of Phi Alpha Theta. In her spare time,

she enjoys CrossFit, studying world history, yoga, reading, and volunteering at the hospital's pediatric unit.
