Well, hey everybody and welcome back to the messy table, an ordinary space where we can show up

and remember that God is at work in our mess. So my name is Jen Jewel and I am truly so glad you're

here and I get the joy of hosting this faith-fueled conversation-style podcast, which every other

Tuesday releases a fresh story of hope. And I have the

opportunity to chat with some real women, incredible women, who you might not get to hear from

otherwise. But together, we get to be reminded of God's faithfulness, not just in our own lives,

but because of other lives as well. So as you already know, without intentionality,

people tend to drift. We tend to drift, becoming complacent instead of motivated, lacking vision

instead of having purpose. But for those of us in Christ, we are called to something more than merely

drifting our way through life.

Listen, Jesus loves us so much that he already made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can

truly live. He already paid our debt so that we can walk in freedom. And since we have been

given the incredible privilege of trading up, we can leverage our lives to make

him known. The author of the book of Hebrews said this, let us think of ways to motivate one another

to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do,

but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Y'all, we have been given access to God's inexhaustible presence and his unlimited resources.
