Well, hey, everybody. We are back from summer. And so welcome to the messy table, an ordinary

space for real women, imperfect stories, and the God who's at work in our mess. And I know,

and you know, and I know that you know, and you know that I know that we all have some mess in our

lives. We all have things we're working through, walking through, praying through, or something

we've been through.

And so here on this podcast, we just want to provide a place where even if you're driving to work or out for a run or catching up on laundry or hiding in the bathroom from a toddler, you can use this to refocus on what matters.

You might even take a breath of some truth and encouragement. And that is our goal.

That's why we're intentional about having these conversations. Because while the world is constantly

showing us its highlight real, we want to stay rooted in what's actually real. And we just pray

these conversations will meet you right where you are. So if we haven't ever had the chance to meet, my name is Jen Jewel, and it is an honor to host

read you this verse, Psalm 8018, the psalmist says to God, revive us. You can almost hear the

desperation in his voice. Revive us so we can call on your name once more.
