0:48.7	Peter was born in the year 1215 in the Kingdom of Sicily.
0:52.6	His mother was a very religious woman and encouraged her son to pursue education and

0:59.4	At the age of 17, he became a Benedictine monk at the monastery of Fifeoli.
1:05.1	For many years, Peter lived a very strict life in mountain caves in imitation of St. John

1:11.4	In 1244, he founded a new order, which became known as the Celesteines.
1:17.0	During his lifetime, the order grew to more than 36 monasteries with over 600 monks.
1:23.0	They followed the rule of St. Benedict with additional rules added by Peter.
