Hi, everybody, Tom Woods here.

Very glad to welcome Gene Epstein back to the program because he just knows so darn much about so many

important things. I got to one of these days, not this time, but one of these days, we got to,

next time he's on maybe, because we got too much to talk about today. We got to talk about the time

I met Gene Epstein, because that's a story. So we're going to come back to that one. But what we're

going to talk about today is the question of the share of income, national income, that's going to workers.

Because the claim is that the relative position of workers is deteriorating.

We've heard this over and over again, whether it's because of free trade or tax policy or whatever it is, workers are really suffering, relatively speaking,

at least. So we want to take a look at that assertion and see what we can make of it,

see how accurate it really is. Gene Epstein, as you know, is formerly of Barron's, the nation's

premier financial publication.

He is currently the director of the Soho Forum, which we'll talk about in just a minute.

Just a wonderful thing.
